| So...a lot has happened since the last post, as usual.
First of all, I went back to NYC Easter weekend. It was fun as hell! It was just me and Tristan. We went to Young Frankenstein again and met Megan Mullally!!! It was awesome! Then we walked around the city a lot. We saw Battery Park, Wall St., Greenwich Village, Soho, and a whole bunch of other parts. We even went into Brooklyn, by accident. We walked around Central Park at sunset which it was gorgeous! We woke up early to go see Good Morning America, even though we meant to go to the Today show. We met Diane Sawyer and Mike Rowe though, so that was exciting. We just had a lot of good quality fun. Oh, and we went to see Megan Mullally perform her Supreme Music Program stuff which was amazing. She's such a good entertainer. We were out until 2:00 AM and then had to get on the plane at 6:00 the same day but we didn't care, it was sooo worth it.
Also, I went to the Screaming Mimi Bridge a couple of times to film a documentary. I have to go back again this Friday because my flashlight died and I couldn't use my film. Oh well, it was creepy but fun. Jess I think is gonna go this time so it'll be a little better. I'm kinda getting a little stressed out with this project. It's 300 points! So pretty much if I suck at this, all my B's and A's from the earlier projects won't matter. And I sucked at the 200 point exam today, so ugh, I'm not one for book-learnin!
It's about 2 weeks until the end of school and I'm sooo excited for this semester to end. I've been working hard in my classes and getting good grades, except for that exam in video. I don't think that's fair at all. So, I'm working at Cedar Point this summer. I'm working at the Antique Photo Booth so come visit me! Other than that, I'm pretty much done! | | |
| Alrighty so I'm back in BG and back to going to classes and so far it sucks pretty bad. I absolutely hate my English 388 class. I have no idea what it's about. I think I was supposed to do a PTP for today which I don't know what that is. I emailed my prof last night asking him for help at like 8 and he has yet to email me back. 8 isn't a bad time! I could've gotten it done last night!
In other news, fencing started again and I am waaaay out of shape. We did these drills on Monday and they completely wore me out. I couldn't do the actual fencing part because I was coughing a lot, but that's because I'm still kind of sick. But I was still really tired.
I really miss being at home. I didn't have to do my own laundry, I didn't have to get my own food and I didn't have to do anything all day. I could stay in my PJ's all day and play Rockband or something. Plus I miss being around my family. The last couple weeks of break we got pretty close because I was home all day everyday with sickness. They took good care of me.

| Ok I'm posting from my Grandma's computer so this is probably going to be a short post but we'll see. Christmas was today and I got some cool gifts from my cuz's and my other family members. I can finally make creme brulee the right way! I get to sleep on the couch bed tonight with my lil cuz. Not really excited about that, but my cousin Tommy is getting his hair cut tomorrow. That's always a big ordeal with him. I wish he'd let me fix it for him, he'd look sooo much cuter! It's break time from school and I'm fairly happy with my grades. I got a 3.06!! 3 A's, 2 B's and a C in Econ. I'm really surprised I got a C in Econ, I was just worried about passing it. Econ is the devil's class!! I had my NYC trip the 15th and I loved every minute of it. I saw Young Frankenstein TWICE!! I want to see it again. The cast did such a great job, especially Megan Mullally. That girl can belt! I also saw Paul Vogt at the place where we were eating dinner. I was the only one who recognized him. He's playing Edna Turnblad in Hairspray right now with Lance Bass and Ashley Parker Angel. | Yet another long break between posting....
I can't help it...my life is quite boring right now. I want to do something really exciting this weekend but I don't think that's gonna happen. I gotta go home to take care of my puppy and kitty. There'll be no one home for me to hang out with. I love being here in BG cuz my friends are here and I can always find someone to do something with me. Although, I need to get the numbers of my fencing buddies so we can hang more.
Speaking of fencing....I had my first tournament since the last post. It was down in OSU and there were 10 other teams besides us there. It was crazy, I've never been around that many fencers before. I had to fence 30 people throughout the day and guess how long that took us? 12 freakin hours!!! Yeah we were fencing for 12 hours straight with no breaks at all. I actually beat 7 people which I was surprised because I've only been fencing for about 2 months now. I beat the ENTIRE Purdue team. They were talkin to me after and they were like "so how long have you been fencing?" and I was like "about a month, how about you?" "two years." I felt kinda bad lol. OSU kicked my ass though, they're sooooo fast. Well that about concludes my fencing update.
I had to schedule my classes for next semester already and I have a class that goes until 10:15 at night!! Let's just say my parents were pretty pissed off, and at the wrong person! They were mad at me for taking the class; which I didn't have a choice. It's my video class and that's the only time it would fit in my schedule. I'm trying to get into Concert Band next semester because Uni band just isn't challenging at all. It wasn't challenging when I hadn't played in like 6 months. I need a good musical challenge, even though Dr. Thompson is the shiz.

| Well we've been in school for about 5 weeks now and I feel like I've accomplished a lot in that time....
I made new friends which has been my goal for some time now. I'm starting to become more outgoing and actually talking to people in my classes which is really good for me. I feel like I'm starting to let my guard down around new people and letting them come into my life. It's a good feeling.
I have picked up my clubs from last year and also some new clubs this year. I joined Vision with Eric which is a lot of fun so far. I met some cool people in there. And I'm in Boots and Saddle again this year, we went on a ride yesterday. There's some new members in there too who are cool. My favorite club right now would be Fencing. I just started doing it two weeks ago and I fell in love. I really miss being in a sport and fencing takes care of my loss for competitiveness. Of course I met really cool people in there too. The president, Tony, is a really cool guy. We bonded like the very first day when I had to spar him. He was just supposed to parry while I attack, so I like really attack him and he's like "wow, you're vicious" lol. Fencing also takes care of me getting some exercise. I'd still like to go to the rec every now and then.
Classes are going pretty well now. My teachers seem really understanding and cool. My VCT teacher is really awesome. We just sat in class the other day talking about Red Lobster. I still hate accounting though. It's completely ridiculous, I would never ever do that for a living and I can't imagine anyone who would want to. So boring.
I'm actually a coupon clipper now!! I never used to collect coupons before but now I've become more thrifty because of the fact that I didn't have a paying job last summer and I should watch my spending. I just feel really independent lately, I like doing things for myself and taking care of myself. The only thing I miss about home is my animals, I really wish I could bring them up here. Possibly next year!
